Habitual sin is the sin that is commonly practice in the life of person.
Heb 12:1
When there is a particular sin that easily capture you, is called habitual sin, and is very dangerous, you have to escape from its danger on time through fasting and prayer, studying of the bible, this would give you power over it.
What are the habitual sin in your life ? They are the sin that you are ashame of and try to keep them secret from others, even your closet loved ones.
You know the exactly part of the scripture that you are breaking, after promising The Lord for a while that you will never break it, you succeed for a while, but when the temptation come, you fail God again.
The truth is habitual sin love to live in and does not want you to tell any one about it, and you won't because you are ashamed of embaracement. And the truth is, nowadays christian, majority of them, if you confess your habitual sin to them, they would be the first person to cast the first stone at you and called you a sinner, meanwhile they have their own, find a caring, loving and faithful person that is not a talkative , tell them about it , so that they would join you in prayer. Once you tell somebody the power would be weak.
What are the habitual sin in the life of some people ?

1. PORNOGRAPHY : they have tried stopping it, but after a while, they still found their self watching it, why ? The root of pornography is still inside of them, they need to pray with fasting that God should remove the root of pornography in their life.
2. MASTURBATION : they have tried to leave masturbation, it leave for a while but later it still manifest, they need to uproot the root of masturbation in them with prayer and fasting, with a believed on the saving grace of Christ that they would not experience it again.
3. ANGER : some their own is anger, they are easily upset at little issue , they can't control their temper . They tried but it seems impossible, is because the root of anger is still there inside of you, pray with fasting that God should uproot them.
4. TALKATIVE : some speak too much, and they have tried to bridle their tongues, but it look impossible, pray with fasting that God should Remove the root of talkative in your life.
5. LUST : Habitual sin of some is lust, they have tried leaving it, but it seems very hard to leave, is because the root is still inside you, pray that God should uproot the root in your life.
Escape now from the danger of habitual sin, because it's end is destruction.
